WHO WE ARE
Pittsford United Nursery School (PUNS) is a nonprofit, non-denominational nursery school located just outside the Village of Pittsford. Originally founded in 1963, the school was established as a place where children learn through play. What once served just 18 students, PUNS now partners with over 50 families a year to ensure each child’s success in preparation for kindergarten and beyond.
MISSION
At Pittsford United Nursery School, our mission is to nurture a lifelong love of learning for children ages 2–5 by fostering an inclusive community where every child feels empowered to explore, grow, and achieve their goals. Through play-based learning, collaborative partnerships, and a supportive environment, we help each child build the confidence and curiosity needed to thrive.
VISION
Our vision is to inspire confident, curious, and compassionate learners who are prepared to find success both in and out of the classroom.
