Welcome to Pittsford United Nursery School (PUNS).
“Play is the work of childhood.” - Jean Piaget
At PUNS, we share Piaget's belief that children learn by doing and that play is the core of childhood.
Our educational curriculum and philosophy are based on developmentally appropriate practices that nurture the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of each individual child. Here, your child will develop a foundational love of learning.
What Sets Us Apart
Extensive offerings that fit many caregiver schedules for children ages 2-5.
Low teacher/student ratios to ensure quality time between teachers and children.
Many opportunities for families to develop a true sense of community including festivals, field trips, playground time, and more.
Longevity of our teachers. Teachers love working here and many of their children are PUNS alums.
Exceptional facility that includes gross motor open space, large playground, garden, and free parking.
Security is our priority! Our door is always locked and visitors must ring the doorbell and state their reason for visiting prior to being granted entry.
