At PUNS, we believe that PLAY is the
most important work of childhood.
At PUNS, we share Piaget's belief that children learn by doing and that play is the work of childhood. In our program, children learn through play and by engaging with a variety of learning centers and activities which change throughout the school year.
Our educational curriculum and philosophy are based on developmentally appropriate practices that nurture the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of each individual child.
We love to see our students happily involved in play! Our goal is to encourage every child who attends PUNS to enjoy their preschool experience, develop positive feelings about themselves, and to engage in creative play that encourages new friendships.

PUNS is a nondenominational nursery school located at 123 South Main Street, Pittsford, New York. Although PUNS classrooms are located within the United Church of Pittsford, PUNS is not affiliated or governed by the church or any other religious organization. Accordingly, PUNS is not responsible for any decisions made by the church and its members concerning the use of the church’s property.
